Artedea-Bohemiarte school was born in 2015 from the merger of Artedea (founded in 2015) and
Bohemiarte (founded in 2000) respectively, created by artists Irena Korosec and Jane Arnot Kavanagh.
In 2020, Artedea-Bohemiarte decided to specialize in the individual
apprenticeship program for traditional painting techniques by Old Masters,
including gilding and restoration for advanced students only, while entering a
reference partnership with Montreal Fine Arts Academy
Academ - Académie des Beaux-Arts de Montréal
for the basic classical academic painting instructions.
Moreover, Irena Korosec joined the ACADEM team of teachers dividing her
time between the two schools.
